FAQ:-

Que - How is Modak made?

Ans - Coconut-jaggery stuffing and rice flour are first made for Ukadiche Modak. Then, portions of rice flour are shaped into a ball, flattened and filled with stuffing. The edges of the flattened rice dough are then pleated, folded and shaped to form a beautiful puffy dumpling that we call modak.

Que - What is the difference between modak and laddu?

Ans - Modak means laddoos, so it does not matter whether it is a special ladoos made of rice and flour made in Maharashtra or made of pearl powder.
