Ingredients:
- 200g paneer, cubed
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Add finely chopped onion and green chili to the pan and sauté until the onion turns translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan and sauté for a minute.
Add tomato puree to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomato is cooked and the oil separates.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add heavy cream to the pan and stir well.
Add cubed paneer to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add garam masala to the pan and stir well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
Tips:
- If you don't have fresh tomatoes, you can use canned tomato puree instead.
- Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
- You can also add some cashews to the gravy to make it even creamier.
